Highly trained physicians, medics, nurses and medical consultants provide medical care, assistance, diagnosis and referrals at our alarm centers and on client sites and facilities. During critical incidents, we deploy our medical resources to provide on-the-ground assistance to members as part of crisis response. Our medical consulting expertise comprises occupational health, emergency medicine, infectious disease and tropical medicine, public health, entomology, epidemiology and aeromedicine. International SOS clinics employ physicians with a wide range of specializations including family medicine, gynecology / obstetrics, pediatrics, physical therapy, psychiatry and counseling, dentistry, nutrition and wellness and more. We are currently searching for a Coordinating Doctor. Located within our 24/7 {Americas Region, Philadelphia} Alarm Center, the Coordinating Doctor will be responsible for delivering professional, effective medical assistance services via phone and email for clients of International SOS to the highest standards of excellence in conjunction with the Regional Medical Director, fellow doctors and nurses. Candidates must be available for evenings, night and/or weekends. Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is strongly preferred but not required. Opportunities exist for global travel as a flight doctor or as a participant in a sight survey. Qualified candidates should have at least five years experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice or Critical Care Medicine and be actively licensed in the United States. Must have basic computer skills: typing, basic Word, internet navigation, etc. This position represents a unique opportunity for a doctor who wishes to transition into the corporate world yet not lose the ability to apply their clinical knowledge base.
