Hotel Accommodations
The Board Review Course will be held once again in Baltimore, MD at the Westin BWI Hotel, located just 2 miles from the BWI Airport and minutes from the famous Baltimore Inner Harbor.  A block of rooms is available at a discounted rate of $120 per night (plus tax). This rate is only available by calling the hotel at (443) 577-2300 and requesting the “PaACEP” room rate before August 10, 2010*.

Target Audience
Any emergency physician who is taking the ABEM or AOBEM certification or recertification exam; any physician nurse, resident, student, or physician assistant interested in a review of the core content of emergency medicine.

Course Objectives
Course participants will receive an intense, focused review of the ABEM Core Content. The program is designed to give participants the skill and confidence to take the certification or recertification exam. It is also intended to improve the skills of practicing emergency physicians, residents, medical students, physician assistants, and nurses.

Free parking is available at the Westin BWI Hotel.

Weather and Attire
The attire for this meeting is business casual. While PaACEP makes every attempt to keep you comfortable, meeting room temperatures may vary. Outside temperatures average in the 70s-80s for this time of year.

  • Baltimore Inner Harbor- this famous site is home to dozens of restaurants, stores, and outdoor entertainment as well the Baltimore Aquarium, art galleries, and boating!
  • Numerous restaurants and shops, just minutes from the hotel near the airport- open late!
  • The Westin BWI in-house restaurant, Luminous, features modern Asian Fusion cuisine. The bar is also open late and serves a selection of menu items.
