PaACEP Annual Business Meeting
Chapter President Michael A. Turturro, MD, FACEP, will preside at the 2010 Annual Membership Meeting on Friday, April 16, the second day of the Scientific Assembly. The 12:30-2:30 pm meeting will provide members with a chapter project and issue activity update, the board election results, a financial report, and member recognition awards. Guest speaker Sandra Schneider, MD, FACEP, a Pennsylvania native and ACEP President-Elect, will provide an update to members about national ACEP activities and issues. To attend the Annual Membership Meeting and lunch, please complete the section on the registration form. A $25 deposit is required and will be refunded to all members who attend the meeting.

Abstract Submissions
The submission window for PaACEP’s two competitions: The William H. Spivey, MD, FACEP Research Competition and the Richard T. Wuerz CPC Competition is now closed. If you have submitted an abstract, you will be notified of your acceptance by mid-March.

The Radisson Valley Forge Hotel in King of Prussia provides top-notch services sure to please business and leisure travelers alike. The hotel is connected to the Valley Forge Convention Center and is located directly across from Valley Forge National Park. The area's many attractions are easily accessible, including historical landmarks, restaurants, and the King of Prussia Mall and shopping center. The hotel is less than two miles from the Pennsylvania Turnpike and a short drive from the Philadelphia International Airport.

In an effort to keep meeting costs down the Pennsylvania Chapter, American College of Emergency Physicians is asking that you book your hotel room at the Radisson Valley Forge Hotel. Special room rates have been contracted in an effort to provide affordable lodging options. Staying at an alternate property may leave you susceptible to cancellation by the hotel.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of ACEP and Pennsylvania ACEP.  The American College of Emergency Physicians is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  

The American College of Emergency Physicians designates this educational activity for a maximum of  19.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
