Marilyn Heine, MD, FACEP Appointed to Health Care Reform Advisory Committee

PaACEP Past President (2004-05) Marilyn Heine, MD, FACEP, was appointed to Governor Rendell’s Health Care Reform Implementation Advisory Committee. She and others appointed to the committee will help implement many of the key elements of the federal health care reform act. The advisory panel will hold its first meeting in Harrisburg on June 30. 

The committee consists of insurance industry executives, hospital representatives, medical professionals, large and small purchasers, unions, health and budget policy experts, and consumers.
