ACEP Council Meeting, Sept 26-27, Las Vegas, NV
Alternate Councillor positions are available for members interested in attending the ACEP Council Meeting, September 26-27, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
State chapters and sections are represented on Council, which is the national governing body of the College. The Council has over 250 members, and has the power to influence ACEP policy and to advise and instruct the board of directors. The Council also elects the ACEP Board of Directors.
President Daniel Wehner, MD, MBA, FACEP, encourages members to participate. “Attending the Council meeting is truly an amazing experience. One is afforded the opportunity to observe and participate in meaningful debates, and vote on issues which form policy and help chart ACEP's direction for the future.”
To be considered as an Alternate Councillor, a member must meet one of the following criteria: serving as chair or a member of a PaACEP or ACEP committee; actively involved in the chapter or at the national level; serving as faculty for a PaACEP CME program; or a member who could represent the interests of members regarding a particular issue.
