PEP-PAC
Lawmakers and government officials, not trained in medicine, make decisions on legislation that may affect our specialty and how we provide patient care. It is important that emergency physicians band together and aggressively take on the role of patient advocate.
The Pennsylvania Emergency Physicians Political Action Committee (PEP-PAC) was formed to help elect candidates from both parties to the Pennsylvania General Assembly who share the views and concerns of emergency physicians, and to help foster key contacts between PaACEP members and legislators through participation at fund raisers.
PEP-PAC is an effective and efficient way to help us communicate our view to legislators. With the guidance of our lobbyist, John Milliron, the PAC will bring our voices to the ears that need to hear them the most.
Voluntary political contributions to PEP-PAC must be written on a personal check or credit card. Corporate checks or credit cards cannot be accepted. Contributions to PEP-PAC are not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes.
PEP-PAC is a voluntary, non-profit, non-partisan political action committee not affiliated with any political party. It is administered by the PaACEP Governmental Affairs Committee.
